Free Maths games

Have you heard of the free maths website, "Sumdog" from Crocodile Clips? The site is new and well worth introducing to kids. If you have an e-mail address they send you an activation e-mail following sign up. If not you can play as a guest, but you cannot customise your avatar or save your scores.  The games progress through 10 levels and keep the score for you. You can even play against other people worldwide!

  1. Hi - I'm from Sumdog.

We've now added a tool to let you register your whole class by uploading a spreadsheet. First you need to register as a teacher (free of charge) on this page:
    http://www.sumdog.com/teachers

To upload the students' names, and generate logins, first set up your school:
    http://www.sumdog.com/school/add/

    Then upload your students here:
    http://www.sumdog.com/school/manage/

You can upload a CSV file, which can be saved from normal spreadsheet programs like Excel. The surnames will be abbreviated to an initial on the site to keep identities secret. You don't need to provide e-mail addresses for the students, and you can upload more than one class.

    Hope this helps!
